Fire Effects Local Medical Laboratory on Jacksonville's Southside

SERVPRO of Mandarin's emergency services team received a call in the middle of the night, earlier this month from a business owner who was suffering from Fire Damage.
The business was a medical lab responsible for testing cancer biopsies, blood work, COVID-19, and many other sensitive and important samples. The lab processed veterinary samples as well. With many patients and Doctors' offices depending on them, this business' priorities were many and varied.
We worked closely with the laboratory owner, the different insurance companies involved, the lab's equipment rental companies, subcontractors, the building owner, and engineers to get the fire damage remediated as quickly as possible.
Our team of technicians arrived onsite as the Fire Marshall was clearing the property. We extracted and took initial pre-mitigation photos, cataloging as much of the damaged equipment as possible. The following morning we were able to complete extraction, add drying equipment stabilizing the environment, install our generator, and start building the job file.
By the second day, we had flown in a specialty engineer from Texas, to help our team process the lab equipment. From there we worked with all parties to process and clean the equipment that could be salvaged.
When disaster strikes your business are you equipped to handle all the different components of the remediation process? Let our SERVPRO team handle getting your business back together, while you handle your employees and clients.
