Sewer Backs Up Into Shower in St. Johns
A neighborhood under construction in St. Johns County had the outside sewer back up into a home's shower. The builder called SERVPRO of Mandarin out to the residence. Once we arrived, most of the sewage had already receded back into the pipe, but the aftermath and contamination was left on the tile. We where able to clean the contamination and get the proper equipment into the shower for the dry out.
After the affected materials met drying goals, we finished the cleaning process. The next day we visited the homeowner and make sure he was all smiles. Due to our timely response, the builders of the sub-division have worked to get us on their vendor list, to keep their clients happy once they're in their new homes.
