Water Damage in Jacksonville Home

The first photo shows removed drywall and carpet with an open wall cavity and bare concrete floors. 

This was the scene in a downstairs bedroom after a pipe broke from above, pouring water into the room for a couple of hours, damaging the materials. With it being an exterior wall, we had to remove all of the insulation (which holds water like a sponge and makes the drying process difficult) and the drywall, and carpeted flooring (the carpet pad also holding water and impeding the drying process).

The second photo shows the newly carpeted floor and freshly painted walls. SERVPRO technicians were able to put back materials, making the bedroom livable again. SERVPRO of Mandarin made it "Like it never even happened."
